The music is the most enjoyable part of the Royal Swedish Opera’s family opera, “Loranga, Masarin och Dartanjang”.
The music is the most enjoyable part of the Royal Swedish Opera’s family opera, “Loranga, Masarin och Dartanjang”. At first the audience sees only the orchestra. Masses of instruments, strings and horns. Plus a conductor who keeps everything under control. But then you see a few singers. One, two, three, eleven, twenty. They are all dressed like police officers, but in pink tutus and leotards. And they sing everywhere in the concert hall.
It is fully justified that the attention is focused first on the orchestra, because Carl Unander-Scharin’s music is the most enjoyable aspect of it all.
