“Unander-Scharin’s music – taken good care of by Jonas Dominique and a handful of musicians from Stockholm’s New Chamber Orchestra – is austere and based on small cells which are repeated with increasing intensity. At first this creates a somewhat compact impression, but gradually a less compacted flow emerges, permitting elements of musical comedy such as a canon based on the well-known cheer which is often heard from the stands at a sports event, plus a grunting dialogue with Beavis and Butthead vocabulary.”
