Carl Unander-Scharin’s striking “Bilhornsfugato” (Car Horn Fugato) from the family opera “Loranga, Masarin och Dartanjang” (Loranga, Masarin and Dartanjang) was also a clever nod at the overture of György Ligeti’s anti-anti-opera “Le Grand Macabre”.
