April 5: St Matthew Passion, evangelist. Hägerstens Church. April 9 & 10: St Matthew Passion, evangelist. Engelbrekts Church, StockholmApril 18: Händel´s Messiah, Hjo Church. April 19: Händel´s Messiah, Skövde Church.April 26: Bach b-minor mass, Katarina Church, Stockholm June 7: Operatic arias in Oscars Church, Stockholm 

The Choral Suite "...hold infinity in the palm of your hand..." will be premiered at the Stockholm Concert House on Sunday, May 31st 2009.  It is a commission from Adolf Fredrik´s School of Music, and will be performed at the closing concert of their 40-th anniversary festival.  

The Insomnia Clinic/ Sömnkliniken, will have it´s world premiere on friday, February 27th.  In total there will be 15 performances at the Gothenburg Opera House - lilla scenen, dates as follows: Friday 27/2 19.30Saturday 28/2 18.00Sunday 1/3 15.00

Rehearsals have started, and the premiere is due to Feb 27th, 2009.

Carl is invited to give the lecture "From things to sounds" that demonstrates and shows some uses of artefacts in his operas, vocal music, dance works and other collaborations.

I am happy to announce that I have been appointed composer in residence at the Gothenburg Opera. This means that I will be connected to that house through 2009, and will be composing a new interactive work, an opera called Sömnkliniken.  Text by Alexander Ahndoril.
